At the heart of our product range is Talloren®, a unique, stabilised form of pure tallow that we've crafted and refined over the  years through a specialised rendering and heating process. With no added ingredients, Talloren® is the active component in our Zero BS product range, and is scientifically proven to provide optimal performance and consistency.

Rich in Vitamins A, D, K, and E as well as Omega-3, Talloren® contains a full range of fatty acids that provides the skin with deep nourishment and hydration while reinforcing its moisture barrier, thereby warding off dehydration and maintaining suppleness. It also contributes to softening the skin and fostering a vibrant and youthful appearance. Talloren® is suitable for all skin types including dry, sensitive, and mature skin.  The predominant and most active ingredient in Zero BS skin food, Talloren®, is clinically proven to be a highly effective anti-inflammatory and antioxidant with antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. It constitutes a natural diet for our skin and boosts the skin’s ability to repair itself.

Tallow, with a 55% saturated fat profile akin to our skin's sebum, replenishes the skin's natural barrier, with no nasty chemicals or preservatives. Similar to the microbiome in the gut, our skin harbours vital microorganisms that are crucial for maintaining optimal skin health. In order to prevent bacterial growth in water-based products, conventional skincare formulations typically use chemical preservatives. Upon application, however, these preservatives can disrupt the skin's natural microbiome. In contrast, as Zero BS contains no water (aqua), our natural ingredients both support the skin and feed its microbiome.

As tallow is a mammal fat, its nutrient profile and compatibility with the skin's barrier make it the perfect ingredient. Its ability to enhance hydration and strengthen the protective barrier underlies its therapeutic potential for healthy skin. 

All our ingredients are locally sourced, and our tallow comes from free-range, grass-fed and grass finished cows.
